Anna was sitting in her hotel room in Belguim, really bored, and started taking her nail scissors to her hair, you can see the corner she cut past her collar bone. She decided either she would keep going and make a disaster of it or stop. She decided to stop. When she got back to Toronto we got together to finally do something with it.

At first Anna didn't know what she wanted to do, so I suggested we cut it in stages, and keep cutting it until she was happy with the length...

What I did was wash her hair, dry it, and straightened it with a hair straightner. From there I could cut it in stages cutting a couple of inches at a time.

Gradually shorter with each haircut...

Finally we reach a long bob stage, Anna likes it so far but isn't satisfied it is short enough yet...

I tried a shorter bob with a short fringe thinking she would stop here but she still wasn't happy that it was short enough

You can see Anna thinking about how much shorter she wants to go here...

And now she has made up her mind.

Anna asolutely loved this haircut and I thought it turned out better then I expected.

Amazing what a difference it makes on her

Sometimes it is easier to cut hair short in stages like this for the client as they can ease into a new haircut, and see all the different lengths along the way. This is sometimes better then cutting it short all at once.

Thanks again Anna
